Networking with minimal firewall problems...?

    Hi,

    I've been browsing about trying to find out a bit more about networking games, and despite a degree in CS and a career in corporate IT, networking still makes my head spin a bit.

    I'm looking at making interactive applications for education, and anyone who's worked with schools knows that firewalls are (in theory, at least) screwed down pretty tight, and that it can be a bit of a rigmarole getting exceptions approved.

    Does anyone have experience in working with Unity in such settings, and would be willing to share their knowledge on developing networked games/apps in Unity with as little intervention by admins as possible?
