    Hi Guys,
we are close to release a new product on the asset store.
Before to do this we would like to have some comments and suggestions from you to know what works and what does not.

Please be critical in yours comments!

The asset will focus on nature environments, but instead of provide single trees, rocks, etc etc, we will provide models of natural areas.

Every model will cover an area starting from 15 meters till 200 meters approximately.

The concept is to provide the developer, without the artist's skill(like me!), a way to build a nature scene without too much effort.

The screenshot and video are taken from a scene created by us for the 48-Hour Shroud of the Avatar Unity Scene Jam (more info here :https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/?page_id=28725)

Here you can see one of this model (a big one), every package will contain about 10 piece's .

Link to the Web Player (only 4 models included, plus the management tool):

    P.S.
The character on top of the hill is provided by MrNecturus : Skeleton Sorcerer : (http://mr-necturus.com/shop/unity_assets/skeleton_sorcerer_unity_asset)

Hard to be critical.. looks too good ..but i'll try :)

This might be a problem. Sure one can make nice scene with those, but is it possible to make for example four or five scenes with only 10 piece's?

Why not go with single trees, rocks etc, and as a nice bonus; have also models of natural areas. You already have those single models, right? However, area models are good idea.

Link should be mr-necturus, not mrnecturus.

Anyway, i think this is worth to buy already, but would be much more tempting with models of all (or most) separate elements used in bigger models.. loved the vid! Had to go vimeo to see it fullscreen :)

    Hi Chelnok,
first of all thanks for your detailed feedback, really appreciated.
We think so, every piece is highly reutilizable.
We will also provide a management tool to further customize every piece (very soon a video to illustrate this aspect).
Here I have explained myself badly, sorry.
We will provide the area models plus all the individual parts that make it up(tree, rock, piece of terrain(mesh)).

    Oooops...
    Corrected,thanks.
    ;-)

Principally 3ds Max for the initial shape, Mudbox for sculpting and finally Topogun for retopology.

We're finishing presentation video + video tutorial (because we will release with the package a tool to further customize the models).
We will release the package to asset store next week.
