UI Text Not Showing

    Hello All.

    Mac. 11.2.3, M1 Chip
    Unity 2020.3.9f1 Personal

    I'm a complete newbie to Unity. I'm going through a tutorial and I'm simply trying to apply UI text to my scene but I cannot get it to show.

    I've tried changing the size and I'm using Arial font which is a default in Unity.

    Any help would be appreciated. I feel like I'm stuck on step one.
