    Hi guys,
this might be a straight forward answer but I'm unable to find it!

I'm looking to create shadows for my augmented reality objects and was wondering how to create them as the AR hasn't got a plane to create the shadows in the first place

So how would I go about producing this?

I'm using String if that's any concern
    Regards.

The way I've gone around this is to create a plane with a TGA file imported from Photoshop.
Using gray for the colour of the shadow then in the Alpha Channel create a soft gradient blur including a fadeout, then adjust with alpha value in Unity for the opacity of the shadow.
