I have spent a few hours looking into the best character workflow for C4D->Unity. I think we have it all figured out except one small detail: What is the best way to import many different animations *without* reimporting model geometry? I would like to find a way to get only the animation data from C4D->Unity for use with Mechanim. The earlier concept of modelname@animation does not seem to be working, and I cannot seem to get C4D to export an FBX file containing only animation? I know we can split animations in Unity, but with many animations it can be unwieldy to keep them on a single timeline... Many thanks in advance for any insight!
