Plans for Compute Shader support? (LWRP)

    Hello!

    I'm just wanting to make sure - are there any plans in the future to add compute shader support to LWRP? The reason I ask is because before it looks like LW wouldn't support deferred, but now it's coming by the end of the year.

    And if they are coming, would they need to work differently? (Since shaders work differently)

    Hi!
    You're mixing two different things here: compute shader support and compute shader requirement.

    LWRP does not require compute shader support to run.

    Unity supports compute shaders on platforms that have the required hardware capabilities to run them.
