I'm following along in a Unity tutorial from Udemy's Unity 2D platforming tutorial course, but I want to improve on the 2D platformer sample by using Rewired and testing out different kinds of controllers like the Xbox 360 controller, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and its Joy Con controllers in either dual or single mode, the Xbox One controller, the PS4 controller, and the Steam controller, but when I first tried to do it without giving the "player" object the script for it which contains the CharacterController, and it didn't work which did not initialize the input.

[[UPDATE]] This thread is no longer needed. I've figured out the Rewired Input.
