75-100 USD in a reasonable price IMHO, that 1.5-2$ per texture.

Yeah i whould say so to. If i work for a client they dont even get one texture for that price (i work for 40 usd/hour.) so 50 texture is a pretty good deal.

Swedish" Vad jobbar du med ?"

Feels good to hear that. Here comes the gras texture. The variations of this one will have flowers. This is a texture that i will spend more time on in general. I needs more fluffiness in it.

Hey man, just practise. I have been getting alot of questions regarding this lately ;). Search polycount.com they have a couple of good tutorials. And then practise practise practise. Try to look at others work and learn from them.

Jimmy how do you handle the tiling of the textures when you are painting them? Do you use Photoshop's tiled painting option?

This is a plain version of desert sand. there will be another one with classic "waves" like the desert produce.

    I have some more suggestions:

Cobblestones. You could do a normal one and/or circular , for streets and squares
    Contemporary pavements
    Different kinds of cloth
    Carpet
    Wall Paper
    Rusty Metal
    White beach sand
    Chain Link Fence
    Asphalt / road

And maybe some decals to fit the overall cartoony style:

    Bulletholes
    Puddles (water/ mud/ blood/ toxic spill)
    Smudges (mud/ blood /toxic spill)
    Explosion burn marks / craters
    Skidmarks

the new textures are great by the way.. At this rate, the pack will be done in no time! ;)

Thanks alot man i will look into that. That latest sand texture look more like gravle of some sort. Trust me i will brush up all the textures in the end. Sometimes its good to leave them for awhile and come back with a fresh look on them. please send me some references on my mail for the suggestions so i know what you mean. thanks again man.

Do you have a mailing list? I'd like to get email when you finish texture packs or whatever else it is that you do. I'm interested in following your work.

This is a 256 * 512 texture. the final texture will have to carpets in one 512*512. the carpet comes in two different versions - one with opacity map (picture) and the other one without.

There will ba alot more doors in the future. This texture actually contains two doors. The right one will have to be morrored in the uv. I have attached a sendond image to show how it will look when rendered right. So one texture - two doors.

Woodbark. there will be different color variations of this one and a bottom that has a different texture to show more of the roots and melt towards the ground. My wacom tablet broke at the end of this, to much painting i guess ;)

Okay here comes another wood texture. I am more happy with this one. same here there will be a different texture towards the ground. I am gonna take my time to render an entire tree with opacity leaves later on so you guys can have a look how it looks like. My new tablet is a bambo pen and touch (small). Works fine so far ;)

If I had my guess I'd assume the reason your having second thoughts about the wood texture further up the page is because it's more granular like your other rock textures rather then the elongated lined look that you were doing with the other wood textures. Great work so far and keep it up. What are we at, around 15 textures so far?

Keep up the good work and I look forward to the finished product, please don't rush on these, the quality is great ^_^

Yeah you are right, they have to much contrast, the pattern is to chaotic. There will be alot more tree textures and ground textures.i have very little experience in doing theese so hopefully the textures will look better the more i do them.

Kyzyk, yes there will be alot more terrain textures. I generally do what feels best for the day (get most done in that way) so there will be a mix of textures comming up. I will be selling assets aswell later. Here is the first one.
