My android game runs fine when wifi is off, once it is connected to the Internet and app is opened, all the saved data is messed up. Lives and in game currency = 0, all levels become unlocked but are unplayable. I use a game save script/binary file in my app if that helps.

I believe it is Google clouds automatically saved data from previous app package installs. I've already tried deleting it from connected apps in google setting on the device and Uninstalled/reinstalled.

It also happened to my fiance's device after I updated the game on google. Im assuming it tried to load her old data as well resulting in the same experience but it doesn't happen at all unless there is Internet. Of course once it does happen it has to be Uninstaller/reinstalled to get rid of the corrupted save and start a new. But this creates a huge problem for current players of my currently live application.

Can anyone help or pinpoint my issue?
