    Something else that I would love to have is when inspecting an Entity that has a component that has an Entity as a field, instead of just showing that Entity's index and version, I'd love to be able to click it to focus that Entity.

    So I recently learned, thanks to @tertle, that IJobParallelFor works on a per chunk basis, not per entity. Now I'm trying to understand chunks a bit better.

    Those are some of my chunks. What exactly do all those numbers mean in the chunk inf panel?

    In the highlighted panel for example, what does the 0 on the left mean? What about the 0 on the right? I assume '211' is the number of chunks of entities containing that specific data? Then what's 210? And what's chunk utilization at 1 on the left side and at 88 on the right side?

    What about those orange lines? I see some are thicker than others.

    Very interesting! Thanks again.

    I guess, to provide some feedback, maybe that window wouldn't need to contain so many duplicate numbers. Hovering over them could also provide some info

    Is there any update regarding the logic flow map/graph tool for visualizing component/system relationships that was briefly brought up during the Entity Debugger presentation at Unite LA? At the time it sounded like something being worked on and sounds like a really useful tool for visualizing the structure of your systems. Even a first iteration which "only" visualizes systems and their componentdata is something I believe would be extremely useful.

    Following same applies to Unity 2019.2 and 2020.1a

    I don't understand, why tag components are cascaded/indented in Entity Debugger
    upload_2019-10-18_9-32-49.png

    Buffers don't show anymore.
    More over, trying display entities with buffers throw errors.
    This one is particularly from U2020.1a latest entities.

    Logs show that you are using the 0.6.2 version of the properties package. Could you check if it works with the 0.6.4 version of the properties package?

    Unfortunately I don't see option to install, nor package com.unity.properties@0.6.4-preview in the library.
    All my references indicate at best to "com.unity.properties@0.6.2-preview" at best.
    Where else should I search for it?

    Hi! I would like to know is there any way to draw property field and nested struct on Debugger Inspector? I try these scripts with no luck.:)

    Code (CSharp):
    1.     public struct Considerer : IComponentData, IActionConsiderer
    2.     {
    3.         public float Score { get => m_score; set => m_score = value; }
    4.         [SerializeField]
    5.         private float m_score;
    6.     }
    Code (CSharp):
    1.     [CustomEditor(typeof(SleepConsiderer))]
    2.     [CanEditMultipleObjects]
    3.     public class ConsidererEditor : Editor
    4.     {
    5.         SerializedProperty m_score;
    6.
    7.         private void OnEnable() { m_score = serializedObject.FindProperty("m_score"); }
    8.
    9.         public override void OnInspectorGUI()
    10.         {
    11.             serializedObject.Update();
    12.             EditorGUILayout.PropertyField(m_score);
    13.             serializedObject.ApplyModifiedProperties();
    14.         }
    15.     }
    Code (CSharp):
    1.     [CustomPropertyDrawer(typeof(SleepConsiderer))]
    2.     public class ConsidererDrawer : PropertyDrawer
    3.     {
    4.         public override void OnGUI
    5.         (
    6.             Rect               position,
    7.             SerializedProperty property,
    8.             GUIContent         label)
    9.         {
    10.             EditorGUI.BeginProperty(position, label, property);
    11.             EditorGUI.PropertyField(position, property.FindPropertyRelative("m_score"));
    12.             EditorGUI.EndProperty();
    13.         }
    14.     }

    Why not see the contents of a SubScene's cache on the Entity Debugger, by selecting the SubScene component or asset...?

    Things I really miss in Entity Debugger currently:

    - Show proper class name for generic component data classes (e.g. now it shows "Status`1" instead of "Status<Poisoned>")
    - Custom inspectors for data that is a little bit more complex than simple public number fields (e.g. data field refers to some id in the custom collection of resources, I'd like to be able to implement custom inspector that will show this resource in the Entity Debugger directly)
    - Some attribute to display private and/or readonly component fields

    Unless I misunderstood the post, you can already do this by double-clicking on the field. I've had no issue navigating between entities through their fields alone.

    There may be an issue with the entity debugger not showing all entities in the Server World when used in conjunction with NetCode.

    I expected "All Entities (ServerWorld)" to show all entities of that world. Instead it appears to show a subset. When clicking on a PhysicsJoint's Entity A's Select button, suddenly more entities appear. There is no filter on the entities (see GIF below).

    entity-debugger.gif

    This is quite confusing when trying to debug, see e.g. https://forum.unity.com/threads/0-2...not-pick-up-physicsvelocity-component.809211/

    Thanks for any help or pointers in case I'm doing something wrong! :)

    Hello!
    I cannot see command buffer data attached to entity from Entity Debugger :(
    How to solve this bug?

    I just see the name of Buffer (RTS_ClusterBufferElement)

    I would like the ability to select an entity in the debugger from script. The scenario I'd like to support is having my own custom inspectors that are interacting with visible entities in the scene view, I'd like to be able to select that entity with my mouse and have its details pop up in the Entity Debugger Inspector view.
