Help Wanted Connect users all over the world

    Hi,

    I'm starting to develop a multiplayer collaborative XR experience that need to connect toghether users located in Europe (Italy and Luxembourg) and China (Hong Kong).

    My concerns are about Chinese users.
    Do you think is possible to connect toghether the users from different world regions?
    If so, which multiplayer solution do you suggest to connect users from different world region?

    Pretty much all networking solutions work worldwide. But you'll run into several issues when connecting people from opposite sides of the planet.

    High latency is a big problem, so your game would need to be designed in a way where high latency is tolerable. A turn based or card game for example shouldn't really be affected by high latency. A fast paced shooter though, is an example of something less practical.

    Language barriers are another problem. Players expect at minimum a text chat feature in most games. If you can't read what people are typing or saying, that impacts your experience in the game.
