I found this YouTube video embedded in a product on the asset store. It's embedded just like one of the screenshots, but it's a YouTube player. Does anyone know how to do this? I would definitely like to use this. As far as I know, you could never do this in the past.

Yes, it's new. If you put a media link in the description, it gets parsed and included as a "screenshot" automatically.

If the same link is included multiple times in the description, the video also gets added multiple times, which seems quite weird and should be fixed. For example, I've a link to a video in the description at the top and bottom, which causes the same video to be added twice to the screenshot list.

    See https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/16937 for an example.

Click the first video and then click the second video after it loaded for fun.

You'll get an iframe of the store page... inside the store page...

Then do the same in the iframe... it's pageception.

    Wow, nice finding!
It's always amazing for me how simple features like this one, can get complex and cause strange behaviors and bugs. Who would have thought in advance that someone might link to the same video twice and who on earth would even schedule time to test such extraordinary use-case. Luckily we work in game- rather than life support system development. :)

That can't be all there is to it. I have a link to a video included in my asset, but no video in with the screenshots.

Hmm, well the difference seems to be one is www.youtube and the other is youtu.be

Seems to me the problem is UT hasn't announced this yet, not even a blog post. I dunno, maybe they're still ironing out the kinks. But I guess they're currently pre-occupied with Unite.

Yeah I've updated my asset with a video, and it's still not embedding it as a "screenshot."

Try using http:// instead of https://.

Yeah and based on other assets on the store that doesn't seem to be the problem. I sent an email to the Asset Store team about this. Maybe @caitlyn can shed some light on it?

The parser doesn't seem forgiving, so make sure you write exactly: <a href="youtubeaddress">...

Well maybe they have to add it manually or something, because i tried it and it doesnt seem to work.

    Code (CSharp):
    1.  <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zW-q3ew8HPA">vid</a>

It starting working on my asset without warning. I'm not sure if it was somehow a matter of time, or if the asset store staff had to fix something manually.

Ok, I found one way. In web browser we must go to publisher account, to packages tab, and if we select any plugin from this tab we will see number of new settings features one of them will be Audio/Video links.
