    Hello every one
After Iran nuclear deal implemention by 5+1 Governments and even U.S.A :
Now the Google , Yahoo & Microsoft allow to Iranian users to use their websites and features but Unity3D is still blocked for Iranian users!
    can I ask why !? 2016-01-20_10-10-11.png 2016-01-20_11-28-04.png 546137_654.jpg 546138_471.jpg

The sanctions were only lifted four days ago. Unity has yet to implement any changes to their website in less then months.

Reading through the US treasury notice, it looks like it may not be as straight forward as you seem to think. The US didn't drop all sanctions against Iran, just some of them. You need to be a lawyer to understand exactly what the implications are. Once Unity Technologies has finished understanding all of their legal responsibilities they may take action.

Like it or not, UT is an American country subject to American laws.

This is something that needs to be investigated by our lawyers before we can change anything on our site, our web team is working with them to check the facts before we make changes. It takes us a little longer than Microsoft and Google to make these sort of changes.

I don't know if twitch.tv is also blocked in some countries, but that's a reference to LNC (cryaotic and friends) trying to meme-ify the phrase video games.

I can try and get an update on status but it will take some time for our legal team to go through and see if our services qualify.

I'm just a hobbyist who hangs around here. I can't speak for unity, and any response I gave would be pure speculation.

I'll also join @BoredMormon and say my word has no bearing on anything here. Borealis there is your best bet for any real information.

I know on the madewithunity web site that legitimate domain respectable name suffixes outside the usual .com, .de .ch, .co.uk, and so on, can't be input as a URL. I have long ago filed a bug report.
