I'm using Unity 4.61P5 and when I run an app on iOS6 or lower, the 3D Physics doesn't run properly and the app crashes. The crash happens when I run a project with objects that have Rigidbodies and Colliders attached.

This is the error I get:

dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: ___sincosf_stret

    Referenced from: /var/mobile/Applications/7F199A75-88B8-4E16-ADF4-EA5201FDE66A/[bundleID].app/[bundleID]

It looks like issue 669398 (http://issuetracker.unity3d.com/iss...und-sincosf-stret-is-thrown-since-4-dot-6-1p5).

Is there are a workaround for this issue or a schedule for when the patch will be released?

I was planning to release my game soon but this is causing me a lot of problems.

I found this page too (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/19134132/sincosf-stret-crash-on-ios-5-1) and tried to set the deployment target correctly but that didn't solve the problem.

Did you place your vote on the issuetracker entry you list above ?
Would be great if you do (+ add a comment too ) , because for me ( and i bet all others experiencing it ) this is a pretty big issue. Putting your vote on the bug maybe would give it higher priority to get a fix

I reported the bug some 2 weeks ago, QA already confirmed it and answered that they will inform me when it gets fixed, but did'nt recieve such info till today...

Workaround is non existent: it's a bug on iOS < iOS7 caused by some PhysX updates that happened

Same here with 4.6.2 and 4.6.2 P1. Same situation too, I do not want to release my game without support of pre-iOS 7. Please help us Unity!

We talked to Unity Japan. It seems like it's already fixed. Maybe we have to wait for the next patch to be released sometime around next week?

    It's fixed in yesterday's patch release ( Patch 4.6.2p2 )
