Nice! Can you explain a bit how did you hide the seams so well on on top of the planks?

I am not sure if i agree that the seams are wery well hidden, but what i try to do is to export the model into Mudbox for example and paint theese kind of things directly onto the 3d model. I have heard that 3d coat is suppose to be awsome in this department. (Mudbox really sucks).

But as you can see the cracks are not going up on the tope (i am talking about the small ones not the big ones that seperates the plank). The reason i didnt do that here is becouse the barrels are small. Details like that will just make the entire object look messy. Its better in this case that it reads properly. Many programs use a funtion called projection painting. Basicly what you do is take a screenshot ,open it in photoshop, paint on it, and then project it back onto the 3d model. This is super good becouse you can use the tools inside Photoshop instead of the S***ty tools of Mudbox.

Every program no matter what you use have those kind of tools. I have no clue how good Blender is in the "paint on model" department. I really love Blender so i woudnt be supriced if its ten times better that any of Autodesks products.

    Hey Jimmy.
I'm a huuuuuge fan of all the super high quality work that you deliver on an almost daily basis, but having to go back and forth in 2 threads is something I don't understand :(
It would be great if you decide which one is your main thread (probably the one with the most replies) and rely on that single thread. I find it really hard to keep track with all the comments you receive, otherwise :(
    Would be much appreciated :)

    Great work !
