    Hi,

I am getting some strange shadows on cylinders:

What is that knob doing at the top? I am using a normal Unity 3D cylinder, with a URP/lit shader. It doesn't matter how my directional light is pointed, I always get this knob at the top. Any ideas what is going on?

Increase shadow quality or lower the max shadow distance. Shadows are wonky on huge draw distances or with low quality

They are at high quality and max distance is set to 0.2.

Any other settings that are important?

    Hi,
Try and reduce the normal bias in your Universal Render Pipeline Asset, that might be the issue.

Set it down to 0.3 from 1, works nicely now. Thanks!

Nice! And I meant the URP settings (player settings -> quality (and then the selected urp asset)
