World Space Canvas is blending with geometry

    I have a canvas with just an image below it. The canvas is scaled and placed in the scene so it would be in front of the player. The sprite, a simple white ring, is experiencing some sort of alpha blending with the background.

    I attached an example image and blown it up a bit. The background is a mountain and you can see the peak coming through. The color on the image is pure white with 255 alpha. I'm using default shader and material (that is to say, none). This is on 4.6.0.

    Any idea what is going on?

    I couldn't say unless we saw the scene. We use alpha blending, but if as you say it has an alpha of 255 then that seems odd.

    Never mind! We had a fog post effect we were missing. D'oh!
