'world' Shuriken setting ignored when in Editor playback?

    I have Shuriken emitter offset inside a parent to get it to orbit
    The parent rotates with a 4.3 Animator component and Animation clip

    when I simulate and playback in Editor mode the animation emission ignores this "world" coordinate command and plays locally.

    only in game mode will it work as expected which slows asset creation/refinement process

    how can I get the emitters to emit in world space during animation playback in editor mode like it will in play mode?
