TextMesh Pro World canvas and bad font rendering

    I have a world canvas with some text in it and the results are really messy, any idea how to improve?



    That's with the following settings:


    I find disabling kerning and adding extra padding helps slightly:


    I'm using TMP 2.1.6 from the package manager and the liberation font with the following settings:


    The debug pane for the text shows it all normal, scale = 1, sharpness = 0, etc. There's nothing special with the canvas but it is scaled quite small. It's 1024x768 scaled to .00042 -- perhaps that's the problem?


    Adding a canvas scaler and tweaking the dynamic pixels doesn't do anything.

    Any pointers appreciated!

    Fixed the issue by increasing the size of my world canvas (and corresponding geometry around it). Original scale was .00042 new scale is 0.002.
