Works In Progress Forum Question

I read the rules of the forum, but is there any time restrictions for how long a thread can run?

Meaning, I've started my game and I want to start weekly updates in the WIP forum but I'm wondering if it takes me years to finish this game, will the thread get closed?

If you look through the WIP forum you'll see plenty of threads that have been open and active for multiple years. As long as you're not just spam-bumping it and are posting actual content, the mods have no issue with threads staying open forever.

But don't let that encourage you to never finish your game.
