Works GearVR with Vulkan?

    I am trying to run Vulkan on GearVR with Unity 5.6.2p2 but there is no way to get it. When I put Vulkan first, it does not render me stereoscopic, instead it does it in monoscopic and with image freezing, ie without VR.

    However, if I remove Vulkan and leave only the OpenGL renders it perfectly stereoscopic and I can move the camera with the movement of the head (normal VR). I do not know if I'm missing something ... but I need Vulkan to launch my game.

    I'm guessing the gearvr doesnt support vulkan.

    Are you sure about it? I understood that Android 7.0 supported Vulkan ...

    It took Oculus forever to even get vulkan support on PC on rift (only recently dropped in 1.15). I haven't seen it confirmed either way, but I doubt it's supported on Gear VR yet, let alone the Unity integration.

    This thread is a bit old and was initiated in a UE4 thread but it really doesn't look like Oculus liked the current implementation of Vulkan on mobile, so I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.
