    Hey,

Sorry if this is a newbie question, but I'm trying to follow the survival shooter tutorial with different assets that I have imported from the asset store. The particular humanoid 3d model i imported has seperate animations as .fbx files, how do I link those seperate animations into a single avatar like in the tutorial? I'm trying setup the animation clips from a singular entity using the .fbx animation files.

Can I just use the idle animation as my default state and then somehow drag the other animation files into that one to setup the animation clips?

You need to go to the animation options, and setup the avatar for each different animation. Then you can simply drop them in the state machine for use in Mecanim. Follow the mecanim tutorial to see how to setup transitions between the states.
