    This appears to be a one way operation. If I go back to Maya to make changes to my FBX files, I have to delete them from Unity and re-import them.

    Is there an easier way to do this, or am I stuck until Unity 3.0 is released?

    Or should I just forget about Maya 2011 and go back to 2010?

    Are you talking about direct import of mb files (using Maya 2011) or import of fbx files exported from Maya 2011?

    Direct import of mb files using Maya 2011 is slightly broken. It has been discussed several times on this forum. You can make modification in Unity mel script or just wait for Unity 3.0.

    Import of fbx exported from 2011 should just work, but there are known problem (mostly with animations). Setting FBX format to FBX2010 helps most people.

    What do you mean by "one way operation"?
