I have scene change apprehension in editor.

It's because if I change a scene, the go back to previous scene, i have to open up through the hierarchy tree to get back to what I was working on. This means lots and lots of rifling through, especially with UI, where i have panels within panels within panels.

Blender, I have been surprised to find out, serializes everything, even down to which vertexes were selected in any of the objects. I guess their save files are pretty big, possibly because of this.

But it would be nice to have a scene's hierarchy tree to be the way it was when you left the scene. I guess I can think maybe why it isn't, but it seems to me once you switch a scene, the previous scene really cant have anything in its hierarchy tree changed from working in other scenes.

Please allow instant renaming of assets to have no added extension, except scripts. It really makes renaming difficult for those of us who build generative scenes.

Also, it would be nice if we could set ctrl + delete, and ctrl + backspace to also check for underscores in Editor Project Settings down near "Numbering Scheme"

I do not like to use periods in my asset naming conventions, for a variety of reasons. I have come upon editors of various types that also delete to and including the underscore.

I am sure I am not the only one who keeps a strict naming regimen, but doing so creates a ton of renaming.
