    ********************************************************

    Work in progress!
A new audio concept pack for unity3d asset store.
    "Rock Loop Pack"

This will be a sort of sequel to my "metal loop pack":

    https://soundcloud.com/bosone/metal-loop-pack-unity-asset

I began to work on a collection of short rock loops usable for videogame menu, credits screen, hold and selection scenes, etc.

I present here the first demo track:

    https://soundcloud.com/bosone/rock-loop-1

the others will be similar in style and sound, even if they will require some time to be completed!
Every track will be a seamless loop
I am setting up the sound and the mix, to speed up the production process on next tracks.

Do you think that tracks like these will be usable for videogames?
any feedback will be appreciated! :)

    thanks a lot!

It sounds like '70s rock as passed through a SEGA Dreamcast ... :)

I'm actually looking for something usable for games.
I want a sound that might be "cool" maybe for casual games, puzzles, action... Not too heavy, but still with some strength
Aiming at loop tracks should be a good idea. The plan is also to make some stingers for win and lose events with the same sound

I think you're on the right track for that market. Sorry if I was being unnecessarily mysterious or anything, but that is what I meant from the start.

It's good music for a 2D action game. The looping aspect is good for that purpose, too, as is the idea for having matching stingers and win/lose sounds.

    work is going on! :)
you can listen to the second loop in the serie:

    https://soundcloud.com/bosone/rock-loop-2-work-in-progress-for-unity3d-asset-store

I came up with (i think) a nice concept.
all the loops of this pack will share the same tempo, sound and music tonality.
this means that you will have several building blocks that you can assemble in any means you want to create longer songs. so, you can use the loops not only in static screens such as game menu, selections, shops, credits, intro, etc... but also during gameplay. by playing different loops one after the other, even randomizing their sequence or assigning them to different part of the gameplay, you can basically "build" a simple soundtrack.
moreover, there will be several intro and outro available, to be played before or after any loop, to start or end it.

if you have any particular suggestion or comment feel free to help development! :)

    another loop for demo!

    https://soundcloud.com/bosone/loop-construction-kit-demo-3-for-unity3d

there will be 3 different versions of this pack:

rock stingers pack, something like my "short metal clips pack"
a lite version of the rock loop construction kit, with less loops, intros, outros,

a full version of the loop pack, with all the work i did.

any suggestion about sound, ideas, etc will be welcome and i will give you a chance to win the first copy of my asset!

    thi!
the first and second assets of this concept are online:

    and

    "Rock stingers pack"

    "rock loops pack":
12 loops in rock style, several bars long.

You can listen to the demo of the whole package here: https://soundcloud.com/bosone/rock-loops-demo-for-unity3d-asset-store

This is a pack of rock loops that share the same tempo and sound. You can loop a single clip or you can try to connect the different clips one after the other to crate more complex soundtrack, even following your gameplay. This loop pack will be part of a more complete asset with tentative name "rock construction kit". It will include loop intro (you find a selection of 3 intros in this pack) and loop outro (you find 5 different ends for the loops). There will also be solos and main melodies included, so stay tuned!

This is the initial release of the asset. It will be expanded with more loops and it will part of a more extended project called "rock loops construction kit", that will be sold separately.

If you purchase this initial release you will encourage me in the development, you will be able to get the future updates of this asset free of charge and to upgrade to the complete "rock loops construction kit" at a discounted price.

As a bonus, you get also some free clips of my other unity3d assets.

    "Rock stingers pack"
this pack contains 25 short clips in rock style, a few seconds long, to be used for intros, endings, deaths, victories to emphasize particular moments in games.

You can listen to the demo of the whole package here: https://soundcloud.com/bosone/rock-logo-stingers-demo-for-unity3d-asset-store
