Wireframe magazine?

Discussion in 'Game Design' started by Lurking-Ninja, Nov 26, 2018.

  1. So, recently a new Game Development / Game Design magazine has started.

It's called Wireframe. Any thoughts on it? Have you read it?

Thanks for posting that! I hadn't heard about Wireframe before. It's good. I like their mix of AAA and indie coverage. I skimmed a lot of articles, planning to come back to them later, but I'm glad I took the time to read the RPG design and Toolbox articles.

  3. I even subscribed to it. ON PAPER!!!! (I can't even comprehend... like back in the 90-ies) :D

  4. I've got the first one on paper, it's very weird to read on paper again. And seeing printed pictures which aren't (only) advertisement. But it takes me back a little bit to the 90-ies when I was collecting various computer and gaming magazines...

But question would be, is any good?
How many pages and content quality?
Surly you don't want to by toilet paper ;)

  6. You can check the content here.
The paper quality is decent. It's not the good old heavy paper, but shiny new, lightweight paper. Good quality.

That looks quite decent. 66 pages on first magazine. Cool
And even they have something mentioned about trains :D

Last real-paper magazine I bought was the PCGamer issue featuring Dawn of War III, maybe a couple of years ago.
The trauma following the release of the actual game kept me from buying any more issues.
