Hello everybody ! I downloaded the asset (wire), from the YouTube
there is a direct link to the git hub for downloading, I faced a problem, the wire is too big, I want to reduce its size by half, say 0.5, but when I did it, the wine falls apart , I tried to reduce each of its segments to the same size, but it didn't help, it just falls apart, please tell me how to do it right?

Why are you using the object scale when there's a size parameter on the cable itself? You're probably breaking the way it handles its physics doing that.

Doesn't work how? Both your examples show you adjusting the object scale and that's clearly breaking everything.

I just downloaded and confirmed that's the case. Adjusting the scale via the transform breaks it but adjusting it via the script on the cable works correctly.

I found out what the problem was, I tried to make an ADVANCED GRAPPLING HOOK from YouTube lessons and I had a lot of errors in the messages, I deleted this script and everything worked, because of these errors, all the scripts in the editor began to be displayed in gray and it said "empty"

That has nothing to do with the problem you mentioned in this thread. Scale was the problem. @Ryiah even confirmed this themselves...
