[WIP][Weekly Updates] Alien FPS

    New update out! This one includes:
    -Working on SP story, not much there but it will be fixed in the middle of the week
    -Menus revised, now work much better
    -Player can now interact and pickup objects/weapons
    -Got a few temporary textures, they are subjected to change

    Since there isn't much in SP atm, expect a (in-testing) multiplayer mode in the middle of the week!

    Busy weekend, but I updated the links and added mac and linux downloads.

    Status Update:
    -Converted alot of code from JS to C#
    -Added XP and a XP bar
    -Change up recoil
    -Added (back) scoping/zooming in
    -Added crosshairs
    -More options
    -Enemy AI improved
    -Game feels more like a FPS
    -More textures
    -Other small fixes

    Expect a new update on the 10th

    You got drive and persistence cause that's what it takes to complete a game in whatever form the game is in the end.

    One thing, I imagine alien's spitting acid even soap bubbles whatever then sending a couple of joules of electric current to stun their prey than carrying a holsterd gun.

    I'll probably add in abilities for the aliens since skill trees are what I'm planning to add, but it's a bit to late to change up the code I already have. A few games have done aliens with games like Destroy All Humans and Mass Effect.

    Mid-Week update:
    I've been working on assets and the story, and I like how the story basis is right now.
    tell me what you guys think.

    After escaping annihilation of your home planet, you and your people are placed into cryogenic sleep upon your spaceship deswtined for a new home planet. However, upon awakening, you have come to realise that you and you people have been abducted by an alien race. You soon come to realise that most of your people are not quite acting like themselves, and you suspect they are being manipulated by the aliens. Along with the others who seems to have resisted the control of the aliens, you set forth to free your people and claim the planet as your own.

    Also, got a new temporary texture for the rooms. Looks much nicer.

    You'll notice more sounds, slight level changes, fixed interaction,
    better performance, and a few graphical changes.

    Greatly improved AI today, I'll keep working on it so enemies will retreat, wander around the area, etc.
    Game is almost ready for it's first video, now to work on the level.

    Hi, not sure if it's just me for some reason, but things seem way to dark. Are they supposed to be? I can see a table with a gem and two candles, and that's it. the rest of the space is dark. I tried to pick up the gem, but at first I couldn't, then later I could. Is it supposed to be that dark? I turned off my lights, but the white on the web player background was still washing out the rest of the scene, if there was anything.

    Sorry about that, for that here's a midweek update. Flashlight is in a equipped slot and is number 1(1,2,and 3).
    Also, you can go fullscreen by going to the main menu, pressing options, choosing screen resolution, and checking fullscreen.
    Changes are:
    -Added flashlight (press 1)
    -Added crouching (Press and hold C)
    -Fixed camera clipping
    -Changed up test level
    -Webplayer should load faster

    Game is shaping up, almost ready to start building the first level. Also multiplayer mode
    will come later on. For now you can host and join servers but it won't drop you in.

    Cool, that's better, I can see a bit now. It'll be good to see what your first level looks like.

    My pet peeve : Dont make me hold down "c" to crouch, my preference is to have it toggle instead.
