[WIP] Vectorizer: generating 2D shapes and simple SVG import

    Hi, I am working on a collection of scripts that calculate and generate various 3D mesh data based on 2D shapes. Here's an overview.

    Right now it generates:
    • Any kind of regular polygon
    • Any kind of regular polygonal outline, including circles and ellipses
    • Polylines
    • Filled stars
    • A simple SVG parser capable of rendering (simple) concave and convex shapes (as SVG path syntax)
    Being 3D meshes with calculated UVs means you can apply materials and textures. The shapes can be generated on the fly and you do not need to store them as pictures.
