    Update (door, debris, better lighting...) it's coming along nicely I think. I'll be able to take all this stuff and quickly re-color and repurpose for other buildings, making more and more alternate styles as I go.

    I'm using Flash. I can make 2D backgrounds pretty quick in Flash, and everything can be reused easily. <3

    Was trying out a new shading technique(for me, at least) and was very pleased with it. From it I got a little concept for a game; a third person shooter game where you'd have to guide the protagonist, Max(dude in the image), through a dark forest. Not much thought went into the concept, but I still like the idea and the picture.

    What distance will the grass show to, like unity terrain grass distance?

    This is fully controllable, so the limit can be adjusted with multiple LODs and an eventual cut off. The GPU grass is super fast though, so these limits can be set rather high (depending always on the target systems).

    The grouping is also adjustable, so the draw calls may be kept as low as possible even with very high draw distances etc and depending on the needs for gradual and dynamic growth.

    I tried the web player demo for your infini grass but could not get any grass to show, I am really curious to try it, see it, have you got any other samples or videos?

    It's not much to look at at the moment, but I just danced around my office like a crazy person. Just got the camera setup with boundaries and smoothing, and setup a scene and EVERYTHING WORKS. WOOOO

    The demo showcases the grass painting in real time, so there is initially no grass in the scene. The LOD can be set further away from what is used in the demo also.

    I will create new demos later with pre-painted grass as well. I have posted pics from various scene grass paintings in the WIP forum thread here: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/in...teractive-volumetric-grass-everywhere.349921/

    The videos are recorded with bandicam and the framerate is halved and there are spikes, so the best way to gauge performance is the real time demo. All grass shown in pics and videos above has been real time painted using the demo scenes as well.

    Hello everyone!

    I'm currently making minimalistic city themed 3D models, and I would really like to know if I'm not the only one who may find some use for these! ;)

    I've only made a few models and the project is very WIP, but at least you can somehow see the style of these models.

    With no prior knowledge on explosions, I decided to make one earlier. I'm pretty happy with the outcome and learned a bit from it, no damage, but just physics and particles. Damage will be easy to implement as I just have to ask if the collider Physics.OverlapSphere hit has a "health" component or something on it, if so just decrease it. blah blah blah



    EDIT: I finished damage and it works like a charm. Plus I added a flinch effect whenever the player gets hurt, the lower the damage the less noticeable it is...but if you have super high damage, that's a different story.

    Doing the Low poly Baking, NO DIFFUSE TEXTURE yet, just showing the normal maps and ambient occlusion, still has some baking errors

    The polycount is around 17.500 tris right now, but he needs the hair, I don't want to go higher than 20k for the final ingame model
