Hi Guys, i'm working on a Unity Asset Store Package for a Modular 3d Cartoon City for desktop and mobile targets. I plan to include in this package many different buildings, shops, small houses, urban props, road pieces, etc... I hope to finish it and publish for sale on the Asset Store in the next weeks.

I'll post here my progress with some preview screenshots, but you can also follow me on Facebook (facebook.com/DooLabs) or Twitter (twitter.com/DooLabs) to be informed about the very last progress.

I would like to know what you think about these assets, if you like the cartoon style, the colors and the textures, the models, and if you have some suggestions, critics, or requests (if some kind of assets are requests by many people maybe i could include it in the first release or in a further release).

I will update this thread in the next days, while i'm working on this package.

    Some tech details:

    - The models uses as few texture atlases as possible . I want that this package could be used both on Desktop and Mobile platforms, so i'm working to bring a good balance between quality and weight (in terms of textures/draw calls and poly count).
Currently there are only 2 texture atlas with a resolution of 2048x2048, and i will try to use less texture possible to reduce the draw calls.

    - The numbers of triangles for each model ranges from few hundreds for some of the buildings, to few thousands (an average of 700 triangles per building, with some of the biggest and complex buildings having 1500-2000 triangles). Obviously the small props haves only few poly (10-20 for some props and road pieces).

    And here are some screenshots:

Thank you! It should be ready in about a month. I need to create more buildings, props, etc... I'm still not sure about the price, but i think it will be in line with the current market price of these kind of asset packages, maybe with a discount for few hours/days when it goes live.

I will update this thread along with my progress, but you can also follow me on twitter (@DooLabs) and facebook (facebook.com/DooLabs).

Here is a little update on this work in progress cartoon city assets package! Please guys, tell me what do you think about them!

As you can see i've created some new models, like the Hotel (with some modular detachable props: the entrance, the plants, the external insignia, etc...), and two street food models (an Hot Dog stand and a Sweeties Van).

I hope you like them, please let me know! I appreciate your suggestions and tips :)

I think i'll finish it within 20-30 days, then i'll send it to Unity Asset Store for review and approval and it should be live on the asset store within about 35 days (btw i hope to finish in less time). Please follow me on my facebook page and twitter profile to stay updated.
