Hey All, thought I'd start a WIP thread here for my new game. Going for a metroidvania style game this time but heavier on the metroid and lighter on the vania. It's all still very early, everything is temporary at the moment. For now textures are mostly done with Substance Designer, that may change, it was mostly an experiment to see how practical it would be for 2d tile based textures. The character is animated with the new 2d animation tools. The base of the 2d engine is the corgi engine from the asset store.
