    Hi everybody!,

I wanted to share the process i have done on my game Mathaquest!.
Mathaquest is a math game, where you solve math problems as you fight monsters of the evil.
It will be available on the Android devices, when it is finished!

    Features:
    • 5 sections with 5 levels each.
    • Each section have different math problems to solve:
      • Addition
      • Subtraction
      • Multiplication
      • Division
      • Simple Equations
    • Each section have their own enviroments with different creatures, that get stronger as you progress.
    • The player is able to buy armour and weapons with gold earned from the monsters.
    • If the player is good enough: he/she can complete the game without buying any items.
Currently i have planned 25+1 levels with a total of 11 different types of monsters.

    Current State:
    Section 1,2,3, 4 and 5 are done.

    What's Next?:
I'm currently working on the final boss level and its' cutscene

Looks very interesting, you might be able to get some primary schools as clients :)

Maybe you could have some bosses that use brackets and a final boss that uses exponents!

    Hi Serinx,
I have already planned a final boss for the game.
But you are right, maybe I should make some boss battles in between the sections to make it more entertaining and challenging:D

Thank you very much for the feedback! :)

Game looks pretty good, I like the idea.
At what age group is it aimed at?

    Hi jkarateking,
The main age group is 7-12(That's why I chose to leave out sword slashing sounds, blood effects and human enemies), but at the same time, the models and enviroment looks a little more mature, so I hope it will attract people from older age groups too.

I'm happy that you like it :) thanks!

Finished up all the levels :D

Next up is the boss battle at the end.
I need to design the level first, then I will write the code for the boss battle and make a cutscene for the intro of the battle.

Moved from the legacy GUI system to the new Unity UI and bought a GUI pack from the assetsstore.
I think the GUI looks a lot better now:

    What do you guys think?

Just a little idea for if your aim is school.
If you could instead of making the end bosses with different kind of math just more diffucult math.
Also you could make a world also for the exponents!
In the end of each level just a (small) boss will make the game attractive for school.
Just my view so don't think to much of it ;)
    Keep up the great work!

    Hi Gamad,
Thanks! I really appreciate the ideas, so keep them coming! :D

I'm trying to develop a game that is appealing to kids in school, so your feedback is always needed.
