I have decided to create a separate blog for this project instead of adding all bits of random stuff in a generic project thread.

I am currently building a 3D Endless Runner as a challenge that my 2 boys set for me so they could play it.

I have the terrain in place, as well as the player running and the world generating endlessly.

Below is a video of what I have so far to the point of this recording:

The above image and video are both of an Alpha build test area which is used to just test scripts and prefabs etc.

I actually have the endless run area set up and in use but will show that off soon.

Looking solid, if its okay with you, could you share how to generate the terrain so seamlessly, I've still struggling how to this. Mine somehow create a gaps if the framerate stutter or due to other problems...

Really quick update before this one hits the pillow for zed's!

I have added a First Person mode to the game for those interested in a FP runner. This is still very early alpha phases but I feel has come on very well considering this was a little challenge set by my 2 sons who wanted a 3d runner based dungeon game with lava...

    Anyway words aside, videos:

    First Person Runner

New Game Over Lava scene gets hot and steamy:

As promised I will keep this quick update quick!

    Good night fellow devs!

    Another small but significant update!

I have been slowly working on my game, Dungeon Runner! Over the past few days I have mainly been performing some backend clean up of textures, assets and code itself. With this small update I have now managed to add a new death/Game Over screen, where if the player collides with walls it will cause the game to end. Much like the Lava Game Over screen.

I have also now managed to clear up an issue I was having where the coins were not spawning with the world correctly. This is now fixed as displayed in the video below.

At this very moment in time the video below is exactly how the game is at present. Still looking for that helpful feedback and first interest on Steam concept page. Below is the video so far:
