So, it's been 5 or so months since i last did anything to this game, i finally finished my exam so i thought id pick up Unity again and fiddle abit around with my game. This post will further explain what has been added and theres a video and all :)

Please watch the video and tell me what you think, if u want to :D

    About:
This is my first game, and the game is a 2D platformer / sidescroller, playing out in a cave first, then a forest and then finally a castle. It will contain about 10-15 levels in each setting, but for now i only have 3-4 levels where the player learns how to play.

    Art:
Player, enemies, tiles and a chest and a heart.

    Feedback:
What i would like in form of feedback:
Please tell me what i could improve on, could it be the game physics, art, game mechanics, anything i could add.
Currently the game contains a jumping blob, a flying bat, a charging spider, deadly spikes, a chest, a player, a crossbow, 30+ different tiles, but they're all dirt colored and i dont use them all, but they're there to add some diversity to the map :)
A small level up system where you gain exp and then you can get skillpoints (which isnt in the video).

Visually there's an experience bar, lives and a portrait.

This is still a WIP and everything you see is subject to change :)
Thanks for taking your time to read it and have a nice day

Update 4 is out! no youtube video, but a gameplay link in the main post. the tutorial and level 1 works. Also added a splashscreen that lasts for about 5 seconds, so its not your browser thats crashing or stalling, its intended to wait abit

Hey thanks for taking a look. I don't have much time to work on side projects right now, but I work on it when I can. It's even Greenlit and everything! Life gets in the way, oh well....I hope you have better luck with your project than I have with mine.

Update #6 is out! or is it 5? i think its #6
    youtube link:

    new features:
-Now the enemies have a 40% chance to drop a heart when you kill them.
-Made it so you get immune to damage for like a second or a half when getting hit by an enemy, so the health doesnt deplete completely due to frame spikes or whatever.
-Added destroyables boxes, when holding S and running into them (note you also make a question mark appear when you hold down S, like in another game ;) )
-"fixed" player gravity abit, so he falls down faster
    -drew a jump sprite
    -made respawning work
-fixed an annoying bug where dontdestroyonload wouldnt call certain variables in the next scenes, i found out i had to use OnLoadedLevel method instead and put logic inside there
    -added 3-4 new levels
-added a skillup system, where atm you can only get a double shot skill, but will probably add like longer shots, higher jumps and so on each time you ding a level
And thats it for this time, stick around and ill keep this thread updated with more updates
