What file does it export as?

Do you have an option to export as fbx?

Wings3d should work, at least it did the last time I tried it (more than a year ago). Try exporting as a .FBX and if that doesn't work, export as a .OBJ file.

What I used to do (years back) was model in Wings3D, export as a .OBJ and import that into Blender, then animate it in Blender and export to Unity as a .blend. Now I just use Blender for everything.

The below link lists all the supported model file types. Figure out how to either save or convert your model to one of the supported types, then you can import it into Unity.

    https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/3D-formats.html

Also, don't necro a decade old thread with a low effort 2 word post. I only bothered finding the above link for you because I didn't realize this was a necro thread. Most people put no more effort into a response than you put into your own post.

FBX export was removed from Wings3D, I believe for licensing issues. Version 1.2 has FBX export, 2.0 does not. Somewhere between those was the change.
