I recently rented a vps with "W2k8 Std 64bit", i drop box'ed my server stuff over, moved it onto the desktop and ran the server exe file that came up with a crash error and to send files to the developer. I am using the free version of unity. A quick google search showed -nographics and-batchmode but neither worked. So i installed unity thinking some .dll's or something was missing but to no avail. Can anyone recommend anything to help this situation? I only rented this vps to test the networking on the server as running locally does not show any problems but running it via lan showed some menu errors so really needed a host.

    Ben

You need to install the .Net Framework.
