Windows Store Universal 10 build freezes at patching assemblies

    Hi Everyone,

    I have been having a bit of trouble creating a Windows Store Universal 10 build. The build process keeps freezing at the "Patching assemblies, stage one" section. When it freezes, Unity becomes unresponsive, and I have to close Unity through the CTRL + ALT + DEL end process procedure.

    The current scene that I am testing is a default Unity Scene with a camera & a direction light. I am running Unity Pro with Windows 10 and Unity 5.3.1. Over the weekend, I did a complete reinstall of Unity with Visual Studio in hopes of solving the issue, but alas, no luck.

    This is my first attempt at building for Windows Store so I'm guessing there is something simple that I am missing or doing wrong. If anyone has any insight, it would be greatly appreciated.

    A longshot, but maybe you have an antivirus locking some file?

    Also try attaching Editor.log.

    Hi Tomas1856,

    Thank you so much for the help! Your antivirus suggestion was spot on. Disabling AVAST during the build process took care of the issue.
