I know this is off u3d subject, but we can't seem to find a good answer for a problem we're having, soooo I thought I'd give the Unity forum a shot as I have come to find out that a LOT of talented people are on here!

Here's the issue, we made a Windows CD-ROM that basically runs a browser and database off disk, there is a .lnk file (and an auto-run.inf, also) that points to the .exe file on the disk, also the .exe file is not located on the root of the CD-ROM...ok, all worked well until end users with Windows 7 AND auto-run disabled came along...so originally, our workaround was to use the contextual menu option for the CD-ROM of "Install or run program from your media"...this is disabled, tho, on a large portion of users (due to company security policy, so this won't get enabled anytime soon).

Anyone have any suggestions or better way to accomplish this?

    Appreciate it, as always :D
