I haven't tried 2021 LTS or Windows 10. This is just Windows 11 with 2022.3.10.LTS (or whatever the versioning is).

I've just reformat again and am currently reinstalling my system for the 4th time in 2 days to try to figure out why Unity is no longer running for me. I thought it was a licensing issue initially but clearing and reacquiring didn't do anything)

Did that break anyone else's system? I haven't applied it this time yet and I'm holding off now to see if it makes a difference.

New project, load a project, restart the computer and try again, makes no difference. I'm always ending up with a white screen.

Everything is current (except this iteration avoid the above update).

    Anyone else?

You are lucky your post hasn't been deleted, for posting in wrong section. Aspecially you are member since few ears.

By update, you mean win 11 update?
Which previous OS you had, on which you had it working.
    Win 10?

If that would be just Windows 11 patch, after fesh install of Unity, you should it having working. At least until update of OS.

Is any other Unit version work?
    Is your drive healthy?
    Is your hardware healthy?
Did you try install Unity on different drive?

There have been a few reports of "white windows" in the Unity editor. I'm not aware of a definite solution.

Would be good to know your system specs. Specifically whether it's a Notebook respectively whether it's a CPU with "integrated graphics".

Definitely make sure you install a proper graphics driver after installing Windows. The Windows built-in compatibility drivers are crap.

If you have an Nvidia or AMD GPU get the Nvidia or AMD drivers (not the graphics card vendor drivers, such as ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, etc - ignore those!). For Nvidia, prefer the Studio drivers, not Game Ready. Don't know if AMD also has separate drivers for productivity vs gaming.

I recently had problems with .Net and VC redistributables and any version of Unity, that was solved by unisntalling the redistributables. Not sure whether that's your issue since Unity would load a project and display the scene but crash right after that with the square exclamation mark of dead. Seems like a good time to recommend Ubuntu which make Unity run faster and more stable for me with large projects (300GB+ of Asset Store stuff), just create a restoration point in case you change your mind.
