Will the new unity IAP System support virtual currencies or we will have to store it in variables securely. And is it cross platform? Thanks

Unity has previously expressed no interest in virtual currencies. So I doubt they will start to include it now.

As I understand it the Unity IAP will simply be a common wrapper across all of the native IAP schemes on each platform. So if the Apple store starts taking virtual currencies then this might become a thing.

    Thanks :D....
BTW is the new IAP built-in with unity or its a type of standard asset? I really wish it is built in mainly because of Manifest.

We most likely will not support virtual currencies.

We want to integrate all our services into the editor, so on this one I'm pretty sure it will be in editor eventually. I need to check on the facts of this though.

Simple IAP System supports virtual currencies and also encrypts them, if you want to. It also allows buying products for currency etc. We will start supporting Unity IAP from day 1.
