Will Humanoid animations always be worse than Generic?

I rigged and tested a simple character recently. In Generic avatar, animations work perfectly, of course. But when switched to Humanoid, some little issues appears. For example, I created an animation where only one hand is moved. In Humanoid I can clearly see a slight offset of some spine and root bone. Even if I mask the torso, this offset is still there.

Is this kind of behavior is ok? I think it is all because of retargeting, and it is impossible to match the animation perfectly between Humanoid and Generic, right?
