Blender 2.8 is coming out soon and looks really cool with lots of new features. Any idea when I update to Blender 2.8 will it break any of my previous models in Unity? Hopefully not.

    Any update on this?

I just tried the beta but almost ended with a broken models & a Unity which wasn't able to link to the Blender app or auto convert new/changed models.

Or is it safer to use the FBX exporter?

Also, since Blender 2.8 uses completely different render engine names, which of them would be best to use?

(Edit: Currently I just use blender internal, since cycles doesn't seem to be supported & seems too heavy for a game anyway, but I have no clue what to use in 2.8)
