why won't my project I made show up in Unity Hub

    I need to build my project from unity hub but my project won't show up

    Select Projects on the left, then the Add button the right. Then navigate to your project folder that you created (if I understand your problem correctly).

    do you know what to do from here?I have my folder where its saved open but it is not open-able. How do I add it?

    Your project folder is "Candy lane" and not "Assets"
    Try selecting the "Candy lane" folder and press open.

    it doesn't open. Unity had me save it to assets as well but my folder if I try and add it does nothing

    Select folder “Candy lane” and Open. The project is added to your Unity Hub and you then open it from there.

    So you've opened the Project, and now trying to save a Scene. Your original question was that you couldn't open a Project. That is a Scene, not the Unity project. A project contains scenes.
