Dear Unity Developers (and the Unity Product Designer, who seems to have taken the last few years off), TL;DR You wouldn't name a dog "Pet", so don't call Unity's Compositor "Timeline". I get it: you don't eat your own dog food. So let me spell out one angle of the problem: The timeline in Timeline measures composition of other timelines. It is used for compositing timelines. The results are compositions of timelines. It is a compositor of timelines. It is not just a timeline, in much the same sense that a dog is not just a pet, nor is a dog an only possible pet, or the only pet. You don't get a dog and name it "Pet", because you might have many pets, and everyone else has pets, too. Which Pet? Exactly the problem. But it is your dog, so Unity's Dog works, as does Unity's GUI... or Unity's Compositor. Unity's Compositor. Do U.C?
