Why the price difference between US and EUR?

I was checking the assets store to buy some goods, but I realized something really odd (for me), why that price difference?, are EUR people richer than US, or the unity guys simply want to cheat us some extra bucks?

If a package cost is 35$ I want the exact or next rounded EUR value, in this case 26.1€ or 27€, but why 33.25€?, I feel totally cheated with this exchange rate, because I also have to pay the taxes on top of that

The same goes for other packages like the ones from 3drt, while the price is 199$ I have to pay 190€, that's terrible specially because I can buy that package directly from the creator and pay only 150€, why those extra 40€?

    Someone can explain that?

I hear you Eskema, but go say that to the tax vampires in Europe that charge up to 25% VAT on all goods sold there...

I did and I've found nothing, that's why I'm posting. If you have a link that would be cool

You could always have a trusted party in the US purchase for you and then send the files to you. :)
