I noticed that for several packages I use, the package showed a "checkmark" next to it, indicating I had the latest version. Yet, if I click on "Show all Versions..." for some of these packages, I see newer versions available. Some examples:

Is this a bug? Does that checkmark I circled not indicate that I have the latest version? There are definitely some packages that show than a newer version is available. For example:

So why are those other packages giving unexpected results?

I currently have the package manager set to show preview packages:

    This is under 2019.4.15.

I see, that would make sense. Thanks.

    Hi!
The checkmark next to the package name in List view means that you have the latest recommended (verified/release) version of the package installed.

The down arrow icon should mean you are not on the recommended version of the package.

That does not mean there are no bugs! PackMan dev team is currently fixing some use cases such as:
    - preview/experimental and external (scoped registries) packages should show update up to the latest version.
