    Hello,
    I'm using Unity4.1.2f1,
Sometimes, there's an error message in the console window ... "behaviour->GetBackup() == NULL"..

There's only this simple message, no other additional information relating the error....
So, I can't infer what makes this error happening..??

The more strange thing, when I play again, this error message cleared and works normal...

What kind of this error message? and why??..

I tend to get them when i save and unity reloads whilst the scripts are saving.

Our Team was able to fix this error. We had a game object that was using a script that was removed. We re-attached the script file but it gave the above error. We removed the script component from the game object and then re-created that script component with the right script. That cleared the error.

I actually had this issue after I moved the project to SVN, removing source control from the Library folder, deleting it and letting unity rebuild it fixed it...be warned it took ages to rebuild, around 20 mins!

I think it has something do to with undo system.

Basically I had a script with some public attributes, I edited(1) those attributes then I removed from MonoDevelop few of them(2) because they were no longer needed. I started getting "GetBackup" error(3), I had just to find the game object with the attached script and then reattach the script. That caused to loss all attributes edits so I had to re-tune integer values.
