Why is the 2019 Inspector Text-Input Field so small?

This is for an out of the box, new install, no customization, UI text object on Unity 3D 2019.

I'm trying to follow a tutorial series (they have Unity3D 2018), and their input text field in the Inspector is huge. Capable of viewing 6+ lines tall. Why is my inspector only 1.5 lines tall?

 

You're using Unity 2019.3, which is currently in alpha testing. Alpha versions are expected to be broken.

If you're new to Unity, I recommend you use 2018.4 LTS instead, which is considered stable and you'll run into way fewer issues:

Thank you! I thought I had done something wrong in my coding or installation. I didn't realize I was on an Alpha Release. I'll roll back to the 2018 version. Thanks again
