Audio Why is it that Unity can't have multiple audio listeners?

    What if I want to do split screen, think Supreme Commander where there are two views of the battle both needing sound effects. Why shouldn't we be able to have multiple listeners and have them blend the audio together?

    I know there are other ways to achieve this effect but it would seem the most intuitive way to do it would be to make multiple listeners works.

    It also makes logical sense to me to have a UI listener and a game world listener, etc....
